The under 12s have started their adventure in the East Manchester Boys League in which everyone knew would be a challenge after winning all their non competitive games last year against girls teams.
These girls are a inspiration to any girls of their age playing a whole year up in a very competitive boys league, but our girls are up for the fight.
We played Stockport cosmos our first ever competitive league game to which the girls battled really hard and took alot of positives out of the game. In which they scored a great team goal with a cool finish by Millie knights. Unfortunately the result didn’t go their way getting beat 13v1
However this has not put the girls heads down or changed their drive and determination to pull together as a team to get some points on the board in the coming weeks. The girls know they have got a fight on their hands and will continue to work hard in training to ensure they raise the barr !
RTB have every faith in these girls and know they are going to be great, watch this space !
