We are super proud of all the girls that wore the RTB badge this weekend.
Our Under 12 girls played a organised, strong and feisty stockport cosmos team.
The girls showed grit and determination for the full 60 mins matching the boys on all levels. The girls came away with a 3v1defat but a big high of the game was a great team worked goal from Lily Turner which saw home and away fans clap with joy. Wise words from manager Amanda Barr at full-time saw all the girls came off the pitch with smiles on their face knowing they had done their boss proud.
The girls now get ready for their next game at Wright Robinson next week.
The under 13s were away this weekend on unfirmilar grounds playing on a 3G pitch. Amanda knew this was going to be a fast paced game and the girls needed to adapt quickly being used to a big grass pitch. And that is just what the girls did. they got off to a flying start going in at half time 3v0 up, a hat trick from our winger Holly Bradshaw. We finished off the game victorious 5v1 with both Maisy and Layla getting a goal each.
The girls battled hard and stuck together to ensure the win was in the bag and they remain top of the table.
The girls have no game over the bank holiday weekend but will be training hard ready for there 2 game a week streak that is coming up in May.
